Women's coats

Helmur women’s coats are made in wool and cashmere. Wool brings warmth and holds its shape over time; cashmere makes the fabric soft and comfortable to wear. They are winter coats designed for everyday life and built to last more than one season.

To find the right coat, start from two questions: how long do you want it, and which line do you prefer?

Long, three-quarter or short coat

A long coat is the most elegant and the warmest: it covers the legs well and works with a dress as well as with jeans. A three-quarter coat is the easiest to style, from work to weekends. A short coat gives you more freedom of movement and flatters high-waisted trousers, skirts and dresses.

Double-breasted, straight or oversized

A double-breasted coat is the most classic and polished choice, and with a belt it defines the waist. A straight coat, with a clean line, is the most versatile. An oversized coat has generous volumes that leave room for a chunky jumper underneath and give a more contemporary feel.

For in-between seasons

When it’s cool but not yet cold, a sleeveless coat or a cape can be worn over a shirt, a jumper or a light jacket, and instantly lifts a simple outfit.

Colours and styling

Black, navy and charcoal go with everything and are the colours to start from for an elegant coat. Beige, camel and cream brighten the face and soften a winter look; brown and bolder shades are for those who want to stand out.
