Helmur designs women’s clothing made to last: clean lines and fabrics chosen for warmth and for the way they fall, to wear for more than one season. The collection is organised into four families that are made to go together.

Coats, jackets and faux fur

Our women’s coats are made in wool and cashmere: long, three-quarter or short, double-breasted or with a cleaner, simpler line. Our women’s jackets cover every cool month of the year, from light transitional pieces to puffer coats for real cold. Our women’s faux fur coats are all animal-free, in faux fur and faux shearling: the warmth and softness of fur, without the fur.

Knitwear

Our women’s knitwear is made of wool and merino wool jumpers, crew necks and roll-necks: fine enough to wear under a coat or jacket, and good-looking enough to wear on their own.

How to choose

Start from how you spend your days. For the office and dressier occasions, a wool and cashmere coat over a roll-neck is the safest choice. For the city and weekends, a jacket is lighter and more practical. For intense cold you need a puffer or a parka, while a faux fur coat is the piece for anyone who wants warmth and a look that gets noticed. The colours of the collection, from blacks and blues to greys, sand and cream, are easy to combine.
