Men's knitwear

Helmur men’s knitwear is made of simple, well-made jumpers in wool and merino wool: to wear on their own or under a jacket, coat or padded jacket.

Merino wool jumper

Merino wool has a fine fibre and a fine knit: it is light, soft even against the skin, keeps you warm without overheating and stays comfortable when you move from the cold into a heated room. It is the jumper to wear under a blazer or a coat.

Wool jumper

A wool jumper has more body. In a medium weight it is fine enough to go under a jacket and full enough to wear on its own when it isn’t too cold; in a chunkier knit it becomes a heavy jumper for cold days.

Crew neck or roll-neck

The crew-neck jumper is the most versatile: it works over a shirt, on its own or under a jacket. A roll-neck (or turtleneck) sweater under a blazer keeps your neck warm without adding bulk, and is the simplest way to look smart without a tie.
